The CHS Special Education Department works with families, teachers, and administrators to provide specialized instruction for students with disabilities. We act as a team to offer the supports and services each student needs. We help our students access their lessons, build skills, and make progress on their IEP goals. The Special Education Department provides a variety of services for students with disabilities.
Each Concord High School student who receives special education services has an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). The IEP is specially designed for the student based on their needs. IEP meetings take place every year. They are a chance for the student and his or her team to review the plan and set goals to improve academic results.
